We live in a world plagued by situations and circumstances that are becoming increasingly difficult for our youth of today to cope with, and what makes that even more prevalent is when we don't have the support needed around us which is no fault of yours.

They are faced with loneliness, depression, anxiety, and so on, but I don't believe that our youth need to be bound by their circumstances.

Youth mentoring is an effective way of providing young people with a supportive and enriching experience. The evidence shows that youth mentoring positively impacts the lives of both young people and mentors.

They CAN overcome, they CAN be successful, They CAN have purpose.

Mission Australia Survey

A 2016 survey conducted by Mission Australia found that young people facing social and emotional wellbeing challenges are more likely to seek support from their immediate networks, with 82% and 75% seeking support from their friends or family, respectively.

However, for many vulnerable young people, these natural sources of support are absent, leaving them without adequate guidance to help them overcome such challenges.

There is strong evidence proving the value and impact of youth mentoring programs in counteracting negative external challenges and filling this gap for vulnerable young people, helping them achieve their goals.

Community-Based mentoring is designed to help young people develop a greater sense of belonging and self-worth.

In School Services

In-School mentoring works collaboratively with schools to identify young people who require additional support.

Online Access - Skype

We know that at times face to face interaction is difficult, which is why we have included Skype to allow easy access to Your Youth Mentor.

This also allows us to reach anyone within Australia and beyond.
